Meet Jack Klosek
Attorney
A Bay Area Native, Jack grew up in Mountain View, California, before moving to Berkeley to attend UC Berkeley (go Bears!). Jack always wanted to practice law and be close to family and friends, so he decided to go to UC Davis School of Law.
After finishing law school, Jack worked at the Santa Clara County Courthouse, assisting probate examiners with probate matters and acting as the research attorney for the probate department judge.
Jack then transitioned into private practice working at several high-end boutique estate planning firms, including Watson & Machado LLP, WealthPLAN, PC, and GVM Law LLP, where he honed his skills in probate administration, trust administration, and estate planning.
My favorite part of estate planning is getting to know people from all walks of life, understanding their needs, and working with them to best accomplish their goals.
When not serving clients, Jack enjoys spending time with his family, playing pick-up basketball, training his beautiful German Shepherd named Nala, and wine tasting in the surrounding areas.

Get to know Amber
Attorney
Amber Hottes has been a licensed California attorney since 2005. Her experience has focused on estate planning – preparing Living Trusts, for both married and single clients, and irrevocable trusts for Medi-Cal planning.
Amber has lived all over the Sacramento region – she started off in Davis while attending law school at King Hall, then spent a few years each in Folsom, Oak Park, The Pocket, North Natomas, and Lincoln. She’s also been to what feels like every park with a field big enough to play a game of pickup ultimate frisbee (Curtis, Tahoe, and McKinley Parks are favorites).
Amber enjoys estate planning because it focuses on solving problems and helping her clients achieve peace of mind.

Get to know Catherine
Legal Assistant
Catherine is a recent graduate of the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor’s in International Relations and Italian.
Coming from a family of lawyers, Catherine has always been interested in law. She has had the opportunity to work alongside a former Public Defender in juvenile justice in her hometown of Los Angeles. Catherine plans to attend law school, but is happy to help her local community in the meantime with Klosek Law Offices.
In her free time, she enjoys practicing languages, baking, and shopping at Trader Joe’s!
